DefinitionA Joke Character is a fighting game character that is deliberately unbalanced making it harder for a player to win. They mainly have a humorous value and the fandom often likes them due to their sheer awkwardness or strangeness. Joke characters are sometimes used by especially proficient players to beat other players, mainly for bragging rights.
