"Flaming" or "Flame War" is hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users. Or a more simple way to put it is, people arguing over the internet. Flaming usually happens on discussion boards, chat rooms, by e-mail or sometimes people even make entire insult videos and share them online. Internet trolls frequently set out to incite flamewars for the sole purpose of offending or irritating other posters. CausesThe number one cause is that most people who communicate on the internet are people with no social skills. That is why they interact with people on the internet, because no one would interact with them in real life. Certain topics breed flamewars. Discussions about politics, religion, and philosophy are usually guaranteed to end up having a flamwar or two. Spend any time online and you discover that people can flame each other about anything.
